Dr Tattersall joined the surgery in 1991. he has a special interest in mental health and is Mental Health Lead for East Lancashire. The surgery occupies premises in a Victorian house situated two miles from Burnley town centre. We endeavour to provide a comprehensive service for all members of the family with particular accent on health promotion and screening delivered by all members of our health care team. Dr Alvi joined the practice as a Partner in 2006. She has a special interest in women's health and diabetes.

MANCHESTER ROAD SURGERY

The surgery is participating in the minor ailments scheme with local chemists. Patients requesting more information on this scheme should contact the surgery on 420680 or call in to reception for further details. This scheme entitles patients to go to local pharmacies once supplied by the supplied by the surgery with a passbook to receive medications for minor ailments, ie cold sores, coughs, nappy rash, head lice etc.
